We collect information you provide (such as email, name, and profile details), meal photos and descriptions, nutrition logs, weight entries, and settings like goals and units. If you enable Apple Health, we read Active Energy Burned data. We also collect app diagnostics and usage data to keep the service reliable.

3. How We Use Information

We use your information to provide meal logging, estimate nutrition, calculate targets, sync data across devices, and support your account. We also use data to improve performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide customer support.

4. AI Processing

Meal photos and text descriptions are processed by an AI service to generate nutrition estimates. Do not submit sensitive information you do not want processed for this purpose.

6. Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account within the app, which deletes your stored data from our systems. Limited backups may persist temporarily for operational reasons.

7. Your Choices

You can control permissions in your device settings, including camera, photo library, and Apple Health access. You can also disable Apple Health in the app at any time.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information, but no system can be 100% secure.

9. Children

BonyéAI is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us to remove it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, if changes are material, provide notice in the app.
